The Difference Between Components and Accessories
Components are the parts of your bike without which your bike couldn't function. This includes derailleurs, rims, handlebar, brakes, saddle, cables, hubs, tubes, tires, stem, spokes, pedals, cranks and more.
Accessories are anything added to the bike for comfort or utility. This includes packs, racks, lights, pumps, patch kits, water bottles, brake boosters and more.
